Poppy Seed Bread

ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder

  • 1 ½ tsp salt

  • 1 ½ tbs poppy seeds

  • 1 ½ cup milk 

  • ¾ cup veg oil

  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 ½ tsp almond extract 

  • 1 ½ tsp butter flavoring

directions

Combine the first 11 ingredients in a large bowl; beat 2 minutes on medium speed. Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured 8x4x3” loaf pans; bake at 350º for 1 hour or until the wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes; remove and cool completely on wire racks.
