Homemade Chicken Soup

ingredients
  • 6 nice-sized chicken breasts (with bones)

  • 4 cup water 

  • 1 onion

  • 2 stalks celery

  • Salt and pepper

  • Cook approx 45 minutes to 1 hour. Remove chicken and cool

  • Discard onion and celery; let the broth cool so fat can be skimmed off the top

  • Combine broth, chicken (cut in little pieces and bone discarded); 1 carrot cut into tiny pieces (microwave in a little bit of water for about 10 minutes to tenderize); fresh parsley chopped; about 1 cup noodles. Cook until noodles are tender. Add a little water if the broth is too strong.
