Chocolate Mousse

ingredients
  • ⅓ cup hot coffee

  • 1 (6-oz) package semisweet chocolate morsels

  • 4 eggs, separated

  • 2 tbs creme de cacao

  • Whipped cream, optional

directions
  • Combine coffee and chocolate morsels in container of electric blender; process until smooth. Add yolks and creme da cacao; process 1 minute.

  • Beat egg whites (at room temp) until stiff peaks form; fold in chocolate mixture. Spoon into stemmed glasses or individual serving dishes; chill glasses or individual serving dishes; chill until set. Top with whipped cream.
