Chocolate Brownies

ingredients
  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup sugar

  • ½ tsp vanilla

  • ½ cup butter (melted)

  • ½ cup unsifted all-purpose flour

  • ⅓ cup hersheys cocoa 

  • ¼ tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)

Grease one 8-inch square pan. Beat eggs in a small mixer bowl. Gradually add sugar and vanilla; beat well. Blend in melted butter. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, blending thoroughly. Stir in nuts. Pour into pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the edge of the pan. Cool in pan. Frost with frosting of your choice. Makes 16 brownies.
